2013 Update:Hello to the fellow friends and missionaries of Grace Church. I am still in Mistissini Quebec Canada. God called us here in 1971 and now we have left Peggy here so I guess you might say its now home more than ever. Peggy was translated to Glory on October 10 2012. I am fully recovered from my open heart surgery—just a valve job which my Dr insures me will last fifteen to twenty years; more than enough time for The Lord to come again. I continue with pulpit supply when necessary, and my devotional in Proverbs on the local radio station. I have always been given free time for my two to five minute Thought of The Day and my fifteen minute Message of the Week. When Peggy was sick I had a web site for her to keep friends up to date and now I have a daily devotional on “Face book” I am just Larry Linton and can be found on any Face book search. Right now the devotionals are verse by verse through Genesis; we are now in chapter 36. We have had a number of deaths this winter and in a village of 3500 people everyone is affected. In one five day period we lost two young men; one to a house fire and one to suicide, both were engaged to be married next summer so the young people were really shook up, I trust God spoke to many hearts. This week a woman in her 60s had a heart attack while on the kidney machine, they put her on life support and called the family down to Montreal; when the plugs were pulled she breathed her last in the presence of her husband and all but one of her children. Now after 42 years I can say she gave evidence of going the right way, that’s a big change since we came here.  May Gods grace encourage each one!  Larry
