There are many ways in which you can participate as God has gifted you and as you feel comfortable, but above all, we are looking for people with a heart for worship music. Some of the ways in which you can be involved are:
Grace Church Choir (teens and adults) The Grace Choir is not a continual ministry, but an intermittent one, for special services & occasions. Rehearsals are held on the three-four consecutive Wednesdays or Sundays prior to the event, from 7:00 - 7:45/12:15-1:00. *Training helpful, but not necessary! *Start date- Sunday, October 28/Wednesday, Oct 31! (All choir rehearsal dates are listed on the choir page)
Music Team (adult singers and instrumentalists) Rehearsals are held on the 2nd, 4th, & 5th Wednesdays of the month, from 6:00 - 7:30. *Guitarists, bass players, & drummers are needed! *By appointment only. Please contact JoAnne first. Junior Music Team (middle school and high school age) Rehearsals are held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month, from 6:00-7:00, as well as mentoring rehearsals with the Adult Music Team on the 2nd, 4th & 5th Wed’s of the month
Girls’ Choir (middle school and high school age) Rehearsals are held on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of the month, directly after Jr. Music Team.
Pianists & Instrumentalists Please, if you have a musical gift, it would truly be a fitting tribute to the Lord’s goodness to use your gift in praise and worship to Him, and to minister to our church body. Music is a unique and wonderful way of blessing both the congregation and the Lord Himself, as those of you who have been blessed in the past can testify. It is our hope and prayer that those who have been previously involved, or those who would like to try for the first time, would help. Pianists are needed to play hymns and offertories during the worship service. Instrumentalists are needed to play occasional offertories and special music during the worship services.
We hope you will consider how you can best use your love of music in praise and worship of our Lord!
